A few years back I went on a solo-cycling trip down in Oxford. The first day I tackled an 111 mile bike ride (Still my longest ever ride to date [2020]), and the second day I headed into London to be a tourist for the day.
I snapped this shot in the evening of the first day, after my monster ride. It was a Saturday night in the summer. The weather was perfect, and there was a buzz about the city. There were people dotted all over the place in graduation outfits, but this chap stood out a mile off.
On first glance, he just looks a mess, but I like that the more you look, the more you see. He’s covered in:
- Silly string
- A tiara
- Squirty Cream
- Confetti
- Sharpie ink
