In short: Here’s a soaking wet dog.
The longer version: Back in 2017, Brindle Brass Band qualified for the Brass Band National Championships in Cheltenham. This was a huge feat for the band, and the first time I’d experienced it in my then 10 years with them.
National championships aren’t cheap though. 3 days in a holiday, and a coach ride to and from Cheltenham for 20 people soon adds up. As part of our effort to fundraise, a select group of the band agreed to walk around the 26-ish mile Guild Wheel (A scenic loop around Preston).
This shot was taken towards the end of this walk, after the weather had truly turned for the worse.
