On a particularly snowy day, back when I lived at my parents’ house in Brindle, myself and Julian went for a snowy wander. I took the opportunity to shoot tonnes of white-out pictures. Most of which just went straight into the archives, but this one in particular stood out as being quite ominous.
Denham quarry is already quite an ominous place, or at least I think so. Huge near-vertical rock walls, tiny paths and ruggid foliage. When I see this photo, I always get the impression that I’m hidden away, seeing something I shouldn’t be seeing.
