You’ll see Julian featured a lot on this site. We grew up together in Brindle, and have been really close friends since around about our high-school years.
Every year, for 3 or 4 years, we’d travel down to Newquay in Cornwall, and stay for a week of camping, relaxing, sunbathing, beach-dwelling and end it all with a visit to Boardmasters festival.
After a few years, we realised we’d spend half the cost of the holiday on a festival ticket, but spend hardly any time there. This year, we decided to knock it on it’s head, and spend more time exploring Cornwall as a whole.
We plotted a route and set out to see the best that Cornwall has to offer – St. Ives, Mousehole, Penzance, Lands End, The Eden Project and more.
I took this picture of Julian in St. Ives on my trusty 50mm as he looked out over the harbour.
