Most wedding pictures are of the big day – the white dress, the groomsmen, bridesmaids etc. I’m sure the same is true of the photos taken at my friend Colin and his now-wife Heather’s wedding, but my personal favourite from the entire weekend is this one.

It’s the day after the wedding – the weather had turned and was a picturesque snowscape. Everyone was way more relaxed than the past few days, in the group of houses we’d rented near Newcastle, and there was a beautiful cosy feel to everywhere.

This shot was a bit of a fly-on-the-wall of Heather hanging the Polaroid pictures from the wedding day onto a custom peg-frame.
